Irrlicht Xtra v0.51
A happy new year everyone!
And to show you that things are still moving on this 3d Xtra, i just put up a new version, v0.51. It has new methods taken from the IMeshManipulator-Interface, like makePlanarTextureWrapping(). See the Irrlicht docs for more info.
The time bomb got removed, so the Xtra can be used infinetely. It has a registration reminder though. The size of the Xtra has dropped to 512Kb only. Either UPX did a great job to crunch the binaries, or I forgot something really important… yet it appears not so, everything seems to be fine.
More stuff to come, I keep adding methods and interfaces.
If you get crashes when starting up the Irrlichttest.dir movie, make sure that the media folder is in the same directory than the movie. That is, that meshes and textures can really be loaded.

Exelent, thanks for the work and bringing that awesome features to the sleepy director community -still waiting for such things.

I’m going to be freed up in a week or so, so I’m definitely going to test this out - does it work now with Director 8.5.1? ( it was crashing in an earlier version ).
Also, this is OT but have you looked into bringing other 3D engines into an Xtra ( eg Ogre3D )?

Hy!
I write my exam work in director, and i found your xtra, and downloaded it.
I copied the x32 and installed the setup, it said we had faltal errors, anyway i restarted the director, and nothing happend, please tell me where should i search for the differences, or where had i a mistake.

could you please explain what you mean by “registration reminder”? I would like to consider your excellent Xtra for a small scale production and would appreciate you dropping me a line or two about registration options.
